To put it simply, a Reed Diffuser is a glass bottle filled with fragrance and bamboo reeds. When bamboo reeds are placed in the bottle, the fragrance saturates the reeds and "diffuses" fragrance into the air.
A Reed Diffuser is a wonderfully simple way to fragrance your bathroom, office, foyer, living room, kitchen, bedroom, dorm room etc. You simply put the reeds into the bottle and it works by itself - without battery, flame or electricity.
When the scent begins to dull, you simply "flip" the reeds (usually once a month). Flipping your reeds means placing the dry end of the sticks into the bottle and the wet ends become exposed to the air.
Each 8oz Reed Diffuser lasts approximately 6 to 12 months! The length of time can differ depending on the circulation of air in the room, as well as temperature. We have tested a few that are still working a year and a half later!
